Ultimate Stocking Stuffer Guide
Happy Thursday family!
I've been so excited to share this post with you all, so much so that I published it a day earlier than originally planned. I spent a lot of time putting this together to get it up for you guys with enough time before Christmas. Stocking stuffers are some of my favorite things about gifting around the Holidays. You will learn one thing about more over the course of our journey together and that’s my love for gifting and creating experiences for others. I find that at least for me, opening a series of smaller gifts each with a unique purpose behind it, means so much more to me than one large gift. I love that idea that someone hand picked each item to fit my needs and my personality while in turn having multiple pieces to remind me of that person later on.
As you look at the selection i’ve put together, you’ll notice that there are larger items that right off the bat you may assume won’t fit into a stocking. Friends, my response to that is to get creative. Mugs, makeup bags, computer cases and the likes of those create cute alternatives to a stocking that the person you’re gifting too may already have. Filling a coffee cup or a makeup bag with small items still counts as as stuffer in my book. Every item you see ranges from $3-$12 and are from Sephora, Ulta, Target, Forever 21 and Lush which you can run into even the day before for those last minute shoppers like me. (I will share where specifically each item is from in my highlights today!)
The first group of items are perfect for the women in your life whether it be your best friend, sister, hairstylist, nanny, a fellow fashionista, the list could go on. I was blown away at the pricing on some of these items especially the 5 face mask set from Target for under $10, YES PLEASE. Only you know your babes like you do, so pick items that are good for everyday use but that are also still personal enough to let them know you spent time on creating the perfect gift. Find out what their favorite lipstick is or grab something they mentioned needing and you’re sure to win. Some items not in this section that would be great additions are earrings and rings, nail polish, sample size perfumes and beauty products and/or scrunchies/hair ties.
Number 2 is one near and dear to my heart because it caters to the mamas in your life! Whether its for a mom of 2 under 2 or a mom of college aged students, mommin’ aint always easy. Some may joke but the truth is, we really do run on coffee (and the grace of God). We don’t need much but a little alone time to take a shower and our daily dose of liquid heaven. This selection is simple but effective with a fun face mask, a free coffee for a busy day and a mug to use at home that brings a little smile on days when it’s rough. Oh and ya can’t forget the dry shampoo for those weeks when they can’t seem to get it together- stuff does wonders! Other items you could add are gift cards to get mani/pedis, movie tickets for date night, and even cute handmade coupons for things like free babysitting on you. Those are the kind of gifts that may have taken nothing to make but mean everything to receive.
3 is for the men in your world- Dads, husbands, boyfriends, brothers, sons, etc, etc. Men are quite more simple than we think. My husband would be happy with a stocking full of kettle corn and carabiners; Might sound so weird to us but man, he would light up! Target really nailed it with the guys items this year. Shaving cream with a manly scent is always a win along with after shave, deodorant and gels for their hair depending on the guy. For the everyday working man, the insulated coffee mug is a must have for $9.99 to fill to the brim with their daily black coffee; Idk how they do it y’all. Oh and that ball you’re probably wondering about, is a sphere ice mold perfect for the whisky drinker. Pair that with a few mini bottles of their favorites and you’ll have a happy man! Some others you could throw in are socks, beef jerky, cigars, and scratch offs.
And last but certainly not least, I couldn’t leave out the Coffee lovers which could very well be every category above, but it’s only right to pay some extra respect to the MVP of my day to day aside from the man upstairs. Y’all- a coffee grinder for under $10?! It may not be the greatest quality but it gets the job done! That’s one of those gifts that iffy on whether it fits into a stocking but for that price, it would be perfect for someone who may not already have one. And can we talk about Lush’s Cup O’ Coffee scrub for a second, BEST face scrub hands down and that baby is under $12 too!! You get a face scrub, you get a face scrub!! Definitely don’t hesitate to snag one if the person you’re buying for loves the smell of espresso and happens to enjoy skincare. K-cups are always an easy throw in if they have a Keurig or if you know they’re getting one for Christmas.
Well y’all, that’s a wrap! For here at least, I could talk about gifting all day so i’ll be on stories everyday until Christmas sharing random finds. I hope this guide helped some one this holiday season. Don’t forget to share this with a friend who may be on the struggle bus this year. Oh and tell someone you appreciate them today :)
